I remember…

I remember my mother, she…

As part of the project, contributions are being collected to go into an on-going piece of work. ‘I remember my Mother’ is an old German exercise book which once belonged to my mother, the pages of which are gradually being filled with short braille passages. I am asking people to complete the sentence ‘I remember my Mother, she…’, these passages are then ‘written’ in braille. As the number of contributions increases the pages no longer lie flat, the braille prevents the book from closing. Anonymous, illegible to most, translated from visual to tactile.

Please complete this form in any way you wish. Your contribution will be added anonymously and in braille to the book. I may wish to publish some of these contributions on this blog, if you prefer to keep your contribution private please tick the box.
