Re-imagining Pluto workshop

Four days of the ‘Re-imagining Pluto’ clay boat workshops at the Museum in the Park resulted in over 100 boats that will be exhibited in the Goods Shed throughout November and at the closing event of ‘Re-imagining Pluto’ on the 18th November (6-9pm).

These boats were made in response to an image of ‘Pluto’, a boat that once belonged to a member of my family. Participants in the workshops were asked to imagine what the back of the boat could have looked like, using their own memories of boats to project. The small clay boats will be exhibited alongside the 18 foot rammed earth boat.
