Chris Norris

Time, Identity, Narrative: poems and philosophical reflections’

As part of the exhibition events programme (for full listings click on ‘the project’, top right of this page), Professor Christopher Norris will be speaking at the Museum in the Park, Stroud. The talk will take the form of a poetry reading from the author’s most recent ‘verse-essays’, with reflective commentary on how the poems raise issue about time, personal identity, and the narrative (sometimes fictive) construction of the self.

Chris Norris is Distinguished Research Professor in Philosophy at Cardiff University and author of many books about philosophy and literary theory. His verse-collection The Cardinal’s Dog was published last year.
