‘Time, Identity, Narrative: poems and philosophical reflections’
Chris Norris will present a talk at the Museum in the Park, Stroud. This talk will take the form of a poetry-reading from the author’s most recent work with reflective commentary on how the poems raise issues about time, personal identity, and the narrative (sometimes fictive) construction of the self. There will be the chance to view the exhibition after the talk and refreshments will be served. Chris Norris is Distinguished Research Professor in Philosophy at Cardiff University and author of many books about philosophy and literary theory. His verse-collection The Cardinal’s Dog was published last year.
